Jobo USA announces "Papersafe" a photo publication dedicated to analog photography

Papersafe is the first ever zine to be published by Jobo USA.
This new independent publication, is a submission based, limited print edition, published three times a year, and is dedicated to Analog photography.

The first issue of Papersafe - #1: “Sage” scheduled to be released the second week of March, 2014, will include two segments: A 10-15 image portfolio of two emerging photographers and a compilation photozine that will be a curated survey of the submission.

For our inaugural issue we are seeking film-based photographic work that is related to or inspired by the word “sage”. Show us some profound wisdom, lost wisdom, or spirits you've gotten rid of... or have found. There are no wrong answers, interpret in whatever way you see fit.  You can use these ideas (and title) as a fresh and new way to think about and look at your work and create a sequence of maybe otherwise unrelated images.

Though we love in-depth, completed series, we're not necessarily looking for them.

We're about the images, and we want to see a strong, cohesive group of images, regardless if they come from a larger body of work or not. You can use these ideas (and title) as a fresh and new way to think about and look at your work and create a sequence of maybe otherwise unrelated images.

DEADLINE: All submissions due by January 22, 2014
